The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is a commitment to eradicate poverty and achieve sustainable development worldwide by 2030, ensuring that no one is left behind. The adoption of the 2030 Agenda was a landmark achievement celebrated at the United Nations General Assembly in 2015, providing for a shared global vision towards sustainable development for all.1 With this vision, all the governments of the world adopted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
